James has more than 18 years of experience in strategic IT planning and business-aligned software development. He served in IT leadership roles at several insurance companies and third-party administrators (TPAs). Most recently, he worked as vice president of strategic systems at Broadspire, a Crawford company and leading TPA, where he managed the company’s claims applications. Prior to Broadspire, Wedster worked at CNA Insurance, where he was engaged in the implementation of a policy management system. He also served as strategic claims portfolio manager at Zurich North America, overseeing the company’s portfolio of claims applications.
In his current role as vice president of product development at Valley Oak Systems, Wedster helps define the direction and expansion of Valley Oak’s flagship product, the iVOS® “one-system” claims management solution and plays a significant role in the integration of iVOS and RiskConsole, Aon’s comprehensive risk management information system.
